WELCOME TO GATHER

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, and in collaboration with Culpeper Tourism, GATHER sets the table outdoors at Salubria Manor to explores the early American table, how people provisioned, preserved, and lived from the land. Provision & Forage is an unforgettable evening inspired by the early American table—where provisions carried across the Atlantic meet ingredients foraged from Virginia soil. A single long table. Five thoughtful courses. Stories shared beneath the Virginia sky. Guests will gather at a single long table for a five-course dinner prepared by Chef Frida Johansson each course is accompanied by thoughtfully selected beverages that reflect the region and the spirit of the evening. Food historian Michael Carter Jr.—author of Africulture—will share insights drawn from his family's century farm in Orange County, Virginia.
