In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, and in collaboration with the Virginia Tourism Corporation and Culpeper Tourism, Gather sets the table at Salubria Manor for a series of three evenings. Each Gathering explores a chapter of the early American table—how people provisioned, preserved, and lived from the land.
Provision & Forage reflects both what was carried across the Atlantic and what was discovered upon arrival—shared together at a single communal table. The menu is prepared by Chef Frida Johansson, whose work brings together historical inspiration and seasonal cooking. Each course is accompanied by thoughtfully selected beverages that reflect the region and the spirit of the evening.
Dietary needs are welcome and accommodated whenever possible. Your reservation supports the creation of the Gather table. Select beverages are shared with the support of our partners.

WHAT IS A GATHERING?
A Gather dinner—simply, a Gathering—is a shared table set in a remarkable place.
When you reserve your seat, you’ll know the date and the closest major city where the table will appear. About one month before, we’ll share the nearest town to help you plan an overnight stay or weekend away. Then, 24 hours before the gathering, you’ll receive the exact address.
The menu and curated details remain a mystery until you are seated at Table.
Guests gather from near and far. The table is shared. The evening unfolds. For a few hours, things slow down. We hope you will join us.
PRACTICAL NOTES
Timing
The evening unfolds over approximately 4–5 hours, beginning in the early evening and continuing through sunset.
Transportation
Transportation is not provided. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and consider ride-share options where available.
Accessibility
Gather tables often appear in historic or rural settings. Accessibility may vary. Please share any needs when reserving and we will do our best to accommodate.
Eligibility
Guests must be 21+ with valid ID. Service animals are welcome; other pets are not permitted.
Cancellations
Reservations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest.
Media
Photography and video may be captured during the evening for storytelling purposes.
